Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at Elements in Bellevue, WA. The role runs approximately 3 months with a Tuesday–Saturday 8 am–5 pm schedule, focusing on delivering first-class service and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and units, performing electrical/plumbing/ carpentry tasks, managing inventory, and assisting the Maintenance Manager with vendor coordination. After-hours on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in multi-family, hospitality, or similar.
• Residential plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, drywall proficiency.
• HVAC and carpentry knowledge a plus.
• Customer service experience.
• Proficient with technology (computers/smartphones).
• Valid driver’s license and on-call responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community’s appearance and common areas, report safety issues.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and restore service promptly.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, etc.).
• Maintain tools/equipment and assist with inventory.
• Assist in vendor management and supply ordering.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and improve happiness.
