Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. seeks a Mix Tech for our Seattle, WA facility to support production by measuring, weighing, mixing and forming ingredients according to instructions while maintaining quality and food safety.

The role is full-time with a 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. shift, 5 days per week, and may require additional weekends or extended hours as business needs demand. Base wage is $22.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
• Flexible to overtime and weekend hours when needed.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with peers.
• Basic problem-solving skills to catch minor issues.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients per instructions.
• Form dough and hang sausages as required by production flow.
• Operate basic food processing equipment safely and consistently.
• Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards.
• Record processing times, temperatures, and codes accurately.
• Monitor product quality and report issues to leads.
• Follow GMPs and food safety procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Work independently and coordinate with teammates.
