Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is hiring a Package Tech in Seattle, WA, to support our plant-based brand production. You will operate packaging equipment, inspect and package products, and palletize goods while maintaining clean, safe, and food-safe work areas during an 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production packaging or manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality with overtime flexibility.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with peers.
• Basic problem-solving to notice issues and report them promptly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and tend to various food packaging machinery, keeping pace with the production line.
• Inspect, label, and package finished products into cartons and boxes per SOPs.
• Palletize finished products and ensure secure, organized storage for transport.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, reporting any machine malfunctions immediately.
• Strictly follow food safety and PPE requirements, including nets, smocks, boots, gloves, and eye protection as required.
• Operate pallet jacks to move products as trained and signed off.
