Job summary

Columbia Fire, LLC is seeking a Project Manager — Fire Sprinkler to lead fire protection projects in the Seattle market. This in-person role requires coordinating with design, purchasing, superintendents, foremen, and sales to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage kickoff through closeout, ensure NFPA codes compliance, and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and AHJs. Travel is local to Western Washington.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fire protection PM, or 7+ years in related roles.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
• Experience with job costing, budgets, and change orders.
• Proficient with PM and ERP systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Strong communication with customers and crews.
• Willing to walk active jobsites and wear PPE.
• Residence in the Greater Seattle area or willingness to relocate.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to pass background and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff to closeout, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and manpower needs.
• Coordinate with design, purchasing, and field operations to keep work sequenced correctly.
• Review and approve project setup in our ERP, including budgeted cost and revenue.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned projects.
• Lead handoff meetings and deliver regular status updates to all stakeholders.
• Address problems directly when they arise and protect the relationship and company’s position.
• Lead submittal and approval processes with customers and AHJs; manage permitting.
