Responsibilities
  • Season product to required standards while maintaining a continuous flow of product to the packaging lines.
  • Make minor adjustments to the machinery to achieve the correct product and seasoning flow, troubleshoot, perform maintenance of machinery, and keep records.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safety Regulations consistently.
  • Maintain seasoner with correct seasoning at appropriate levels.
  • Identify seasoning equipment problems and correct them.
  • Assemble and disassemble seasoning line equipment correctly.
  • Handle line clean‑ups and changeovers.
  • Perform chemical, Kosher, and allergen cleaning.
  • Perform seasoner set‑up duties.
  • Complete documentation for monitoring the seasoning process.
  • Perform minor adjustments and maintenance on all equipment.
  • Retrieve correct and adequate supplies from the warehouse to sufficiently stock lines.
  • Assist R&D in testing new seasoning and conducting trials.
  • Operate case erectors.
  • Perform all sanitation of scales and drums.
  • Calibrate load cells for accurate seasoning application.
  • Ensure product is within QA specifications and make adjustments if necessary.
  • May perform seasoning checks on finished product.
  • Perform verification on level sensors using calibration tools.
  • Perform verification on no‑seasoning laser sensor.
  • Assist with scale calibration.
  • Utilize operator interface panels to perform seasoning drop tests, adjust seasoning settings and operate equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions for seasoning issues.
  • Communicate with Packaging Lead, Quality Assurance, training and information needs, Maintenance concerning equipment problems, and the warehouse concerning supplies.
  • May perform other duties as required.
