Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Chef Tournant at Westin Tampa Bay to lead a high-volume culinary team. You will plan daily production, oversee preparation and ensure quality and safety in a fast paced hotel kitchen.

The role requires 2-3 years in professional kitchens, a food handler’s certificate, and flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts. Candidates should be energetic leaders comfortable guiding staff and delivering excellence.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production, prep and presentation of all hotel food.
• Work across kitchen stations (cook, sauté, grill, fry) and ensure consistency.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards; manage prep sheets and portions.
• Minimize food waste through cross utilisation and efficient mise en place.
• Mentor and train junior staff; uphold allergy practices and guest safety.
