Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is seeking entry-level woodworking and general labor workers for 1st shift in the Manitowoc area. Earn $18.00/hour, with shifts from 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Duties include supporting production, reading blueprints, and operating woodworking tools to build and finish products. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally, stand for the entire shift, and perform bending, lifting, and twisting as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be on feet for the entire shift.
• Bend, lift, twist as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of various wood products.
• Follow blueprints and schematics to assist in building and finishing products based on customer specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble products.
• Perform machine helper duties such as loading and unloading machine parts.
• Operate woodworking machines, including saws, milling and sanding machines.
• Sand and file parts to remove excess materials.
• Apply finish and stain to parts.
• Print product labels according to product specifications.
• Package product and prepare for shipment.
• Palletize product as needed.

Hours:

• 6:00am to 2:30pm; Monday to Friday; Some overtime as needed
• 7:00 am to 3:30pm; Monday to Friday; Some overtime as needed

Pay:

• $18.00/hour

Job Duties:

• Assist in the production of various wood products
• Follow blue prints and schematics to assist in the building and or finishing of products based on customer specifications
• Use various hand and power tools to assemble products
• Perform machine helper duties such has loading and unloading machine parts
• Operate woodworking machines, including saws and milling and sanding machines
• Sand and file parts to remove any excess materials
• Apply finish and stain to parts
• Use various cleaning agents to remove excess glue and finish
• Print product labels according to product specifications
• Package product and prepare for shipment
• Palletize product as needed

Requirements:
