Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a Woodworking Associate for the 2nd shift. This full-time role offers on-the-job training, advancement potential, and pay starting at $22/hr with strong benefits.

You will use hand-held router, table saw, band saw, miter saw, and sander, read blueprints, and measure with a ruler. Must follow safety rules, work well in a team or alone, and have good attendance. Overtime may be required. English fluency is required.

Position Summary

The Woodworking Associate will be using various woodworking tools, such as, hand-held router, table saw, band saw, miter saw, sander while following safety guidelines. Must have the ability to pay attention to details and understand the daily production process. Works well in a team atmosphere or alone.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Assist in daily production needs and projects within the Mill
• Maintain schedule and meet company quality standards
• Multi-tasking doing various operations

Specific Job Requirements

• Able to read blueprints
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand a ruler and measurement
• Basic math and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to use various woodworking tools and machines
• Able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining safety, quality and schedule
• Willingness to work overtime when needed. Good attendance and promptness is a must

Qualifications: Education and Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent required
