Total Wine & More in North Kansas City, MO is seeking a seasonal cashier to deliver fast, friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and bag groceries while maintaining alcohol-safety standards.

This role may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser. Requires 1–3 years retail experience, familiarity with POS and inventory software, and eligibility to work 21+ with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Provide fast, friendly service and greet customers to build relationships.
• Promote loyalty program and assist with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Bag products and ensure accuracy at checkout.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety in alcohol sales and handle responsibilities as assigned.
