Position Summary

We are hiring Seasonal Weigher & Grader Operators in Salisbury, MD. Responsibilities include weighing, sampling, testing, grading grain shipments, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Compensation and Benefits

Target wage: $16.50 - $18.50/hour based on shift, experience, and qualifications, with annual bonuses and potential overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, insurance options, disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

1. Collect grain samples using appropriate equipment.
2. Inspect and test grain according to procedures.
3. Weigh inbound and outbound shipments.
4. Complete documentation accurately.
5. Maintain equipment calibration and setup.
6. Provide customer support regarding account information.
7. Keep the work area clean and organized.
8. Follow safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Must be able to move freely within facilities, climb heights up to 150 feet, lift tools and equipment up to 50 lbs., and work in varying temperatures, humidity, noise levels, and chemical environments. Protective equipment and travel to remote sites are required.
