Job summary

Brunswick Corporation – Freedom Boat Club is seeking a friendly, upbeat individual to join the dock team. This temporary/seasonal role will involve greeting members, checking them in/out, and performing equipment checks on the docks by the water. Availability through October/November, including weekends and holidays, is required.

The position pays $14.00 hourly and includes eligibility for Brunswick’s 401k match. Prior boat experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills are preferred.
• Must be able to regularly complete the physical demands of the role including bending, kneeling, carrying equipment.
• Able to read and manipulate handheld tablets and operate in outdoor marina settings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Manage check-in/check-out using a handheld tablet.
• Perform equipment checks and maintain vessels and Club location.
• Provide basic guidance about local waters to members.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
