The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a Seasonal Volunteer Database Data Entry Clerk in the Service Extension Department for the NEOSA Divisional Headquarters. This non-exempt, part-time role supports the holiday kettle season with data entry, communication, and volunteer coordination.

You will maintain volunteer records, answer inquiries, and help connect volunteers with local service units while working as part of a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with data entry, administrative support, or volunteer coordination is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and accurately enter kettle volunteer information into the volunteer database.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets containing necessary volunteer information.
• Enter volunteer information received from local units into the appropriate database.
• Send volunteers training videos, instructions, and other information needed to prepare them for their assignments.
• Respond to online requests for assistance and route inquiries to the appropriate service unit based on the ZIP code.
• Follow up with volunteers to help keep holiday kettle activities moving smoothly.
• Assist the Service Extension Director with seasonal kettle projects and related tasks.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records throughout the season.
