Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson, MD seeks a Head Coach for the Varsity Softball team. This part-time/seasonal role runs Feb 16, 2027 to May 12, 2027, with about 10–15 hours per week and daily practices 3:30–5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include coaching, organizing selections, planning practices, and game-day prep.

Qualified candidates have high school coaching experience and competed at the high school or college level. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school coaching experience.
• Experience as a competitive athlete at the high school or college level.
• CPR certifications preferred.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with student athletes, coaching staff, athletics staff and parents.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend and run daily practice from 3:30pm - 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays per week. Potential morning or weekend practices, if needed.
• Attend team's games, typically weekdays throughout the season.
• Work with a group of adolescent athletes in coaching assigned sport and life skills.
• Potential to host sports camps in off-season (school breaks, summer, etc.)
