Job summary

Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department is hiring two Seasonal Trailhead Maintenance Technicians to maintain and clean trailhead facilities, work outdoors in all weather, and use basic tools. These are hourly, non-benefited roles based in Longmont, CO, with shifts Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat, up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Any combination of relevant education and experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Trailhead restroom cleaning, restocking, and sanitation implementation.
• Routine trailhead trash and recycling pick-up.
• Performing light construction and maintenance on park facilities.
• Assist with graffiti removal using pressure washing and cleaners.
• Operate hand and power tools for semi-skilled tasks.
• Perform various maintenance work excluding Electrical & HVAC systems.
• Assist with other trailhead operation projects.
• Snow removal using a snowplow.
• May be reassigned during emergencies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work independently when needed.
