Job summary

The City of Boulder is seeking a Parks Maintenance Worker to perform semi-skilled to skilled tasks across athletic fields, trails, facilities, and turf areas. You will operate equipment, assist with safety inspections, and support event setups, while coordinating with supervisors and vendors.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, be able to operate light equipment, and hold or obtain a CDL Class B if possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in parks or turf maintenance is required.
• Ability to operate light to mid-size equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation and turf care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic fields, bike paths, parks, and facilities.
• Oversee contracted work and coordinate with vendors/events.
• Assist with safety inspections and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to emergencies and snow removal as needed.
