Albemarle County is seeking a part-time trail maintenance worker to perform routine maintenance, patrol county park trails, and carry out semi-skilled repair work. The role requires operating power equipment and hand tools, and providing park-user assistance.
Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Virginia driver’s license. The job entails substantial physical tasks, outdoor work in varying weather, and weekend hours as needed.

The hiring range for this position $16.50. Starting offer is based on applicable education beyond minimum requirements and internal equity. This is a part time, FLSA non-exempt position. Internal candidates will receive pay adjustments in accordance with Local Government Personnel Policy,
