Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or combination
• Ability to follow instructions and work with insecticides, herbicides, fungicides; may require cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Ability to interact positively with employees and the general public
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritize, multi-task and be flexible
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle interruptions

Responsibilities

• Performs semiskilled duties in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, plastering, and lawn maintenance.
• Assists Track Foreman and other workers with their tasks.
• Cares for established lawns including mulching, aerating, weeding, and edging around flower beds and paths.
• Mows and edges lawns with power mowers and edgers.
• Plants seeds, shrubs, trees, and applies mulch as needed.
• Drives or operates power equipment only when trained and assigned.
• Maintains tools and equipment; reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows safety policies and company procedures; participates in meetings and training.
