Job summary

Landscapes Golf Management and Settler's Hill Golf Course are seeking Grounds Maintenance team members for the upcoming golf season. These are seasonal positions with full time hours available during the season.

Responsibilities include mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunker maintenance, irrigation maintenance, set up, and general landscaping duties while ensuring safety and guest service. Work hours may include early mornings and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays, with outdoor

Qualifications

• Able to safely operate mowers, sand raking machines, power tools, utility carts, weed eaters, and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.
• Operates mowing equipment; mows greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunker banks and native grass.
• Performs bunker maintenance; rakes and moves sand, edges, and pulls weeds.
• Ensures that all areas around trees, bunkers, cart paths, signs and other golf course features are maintained and edged.
• Installs and maintains landscaping plant material and performs all associated landscaping duties.
• Assists with the repairs and maintenance of the irrigation system features.
• Performs golf course set up; cup cutting, tee cleanup, divot filling, ball mark repair, trash and debris removal, and golf ball washer maintenance.
• Cleans, fuels, and stores equipment after each use. Refreshes oil and other lubricants as directed by the equipment technician.
• Demonstrates a commitment to safety and service to guests and members.
