Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak shopping periods. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service while helping guests find products and complete transactions in a fast-paced holiday environment.

You will ensure the selling floor is stocked, tidy, and compliant with company standards, greeting customers and answering questions. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for shopping with GameStop.
• Support the shopping environment and store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep all areas of the store clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and presenting products on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and be mindful of safety best practices.
• Follow all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
