Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced sales environment that uses our buy, sell, trade, and reservation model. The role emphasizes sales, store maintenance, and customer service during peak seasons.

The ideal candidate is available for peak seasonal days, has a friendly personality, and can work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with their video gaming needs, recommending items and using selling behaviors during transactions.
• Support store environment and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and transferring items from stock to selling floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures.
