H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert team and advanced training. You will conduct tax interviews face-to-face and virtually, prepare complete and accurate returns, and help grow the practice by increasing client retention and offering additional products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services
• Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates
