H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced tax training. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the client base while offering IRS support as needed.

The role emphasizes working in a fast-paced environment with virtual tools and opportunities for professional certification and advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred (from Preferred Qualifications).
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

Responsabilités

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support including audit representation for Circular 230 associates.
