H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will grow client relationships with the support of an expert team and receive advanced tax training to help you succeed.

This role involves conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and providing IRS support, with opportunities to mentor teammates and generate business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (audit representation where applicable)
• Mentor and support teammates

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

High school diploma / equivalent or higher
