Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare accurate returns, and support clients with IRS inquiries, audits, and related services through in-person and virtual channels.

Applicants should have strong accounting/tax experience, CPA/EA credentials, and the ability to grow client relationships while delivering high-quality tax support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual tools—video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including notices and audit representation where applicable.
