Job summary

H&R Block, a leading tax services company, is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and the support of an expert team.

You’ll conduct client interviews (in person and via virtual tools), prepare complete tax returns, and help grow the business by increasing client retention and offering additional services. You’ll mentor teammates and ensure tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience handling complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
