Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll gain advanced tax training and work with an expert team to deliver accurate returns and proactive IRS support.

You will conduct client interviews both in person and virtually, prepare returns, and help grow the practice by increasing client retention and offering additional services.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support teammates in tax preparation and client service.
• Complete individual tax returns accurately and on time.
• Assist clients with complex tax scenarios including trusts and partnerships.
• Collaborate with franchise staff to deliver tax training and services.
