Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team and advanced tax training. You’ll build client relationships that grow stronger every year and help clients make informed decisions.

In this role you’ll conduct tax interviews both face-to-face and virtually, prepare complete and accurate returns, and pursue opportunities to grow the business by increasing client retention and offering additional services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
