H&R Block in Minnesota is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs and to support a team of tax experts. You will receive advanced tax training and contribute to delivering high-quality tax services.

The role emphasizes interviewing clients via in-person and virtual channels, preparing returns, and identifying opportunities for additional products and services. Prior tax experience and credentials are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
