Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1 year tax preparation or related experience including individual and business returns
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax saving opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive client-focused office environment
