H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, with the support of an expert team and advanced training to help you succeed in a dynamic, client‑facing role.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, support business growth, and offer additional products and services, while mentoring teammates and delivering IRS assistance in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting tax interviews with clients in person or via video, phone, chat, or email.
• Experience completing individual returns and handling complex returns.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and in writing.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention and upsell services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit notice services where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.
