H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs and to be supported by a team of experts. The role includes advanced tax training and opportunities to grow client relationships year over year.

As a Tax Professional you will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and offer additional products and services, while mentoring teammates and ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
