H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete tax returns and deliver client-focused service in our Fishers, IN office. You will interview clients to understand their financial situations and provide personalized tax planning and product recommendations.

You'll work with trusted colleagues, leveraging industry-leading training and technology, and enjoy a competitive hourly rate plus an incentive plan as you build tax expertise and serve clients locally.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client interviewing and advisory service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: CPA or EA or IRS Circular 230 credential.
• Preferred: knowledge of GoSystem or Ultratax.
• Preferred: experience with AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Provide tax savings opportunities and recommendations for H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
