H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare accurate returns, interview clients about their finances, and uncover tax savings opportunities at a local office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with clear tax explanations.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a client-focused office environment.
