Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax forms, provide expert tax knowledge, and ensure accurate filings. The role involves interviewing clients, preparing and reviewing returns, and offering planning advice in a fast-paced environment.

This position supports multiyear and multistate filings, with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules and an emphasis on exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ tax seasons of experience in tax preparation.
• Experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership returns.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• PTIN certification; CPA/EA license a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare, review, and complete multiyear and multistate returns.
• Provide IRS audit support and e-file tax forms.
• Explain tax topics and offer planning guidance to clients.
• Support payments processing and client billing.
