You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses and uncover savings opportunities, backed by industry-leading training and technology. This in-person role offers a competitive hourly rate and an incentive plan that rewards impact as you build tax expertise and serve clients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of tax preparation experience incl. individuals and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing or advisory roles.
• Complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: bachelor’s in accounting/finance; CPA/EA or Circular 230 credential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide tax savings opportunities and relevant H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
