You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting client relationships using our training and technology, a competitive hourly rate, and an incentive plan that rewards your impact as you build your tax expertise and serve clients. This role is in-person at a local H&R Block tax office.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing advisory roles and strong communication.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education and requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses with complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial changes and tax implications.
• Provide personalized tax savings recommendations and product referrals.
• Offer IRS assistance, notice support, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office.
