You will interview clients, explain tax concepts clearly, and provide advisory guidance with the support of industry-leading training and technology.

This in-person role offers an hourly rate and an incentive plan that rewards impact as you build tax expertise and client relationships during the season.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, explaining tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financials and implications.
• Provide recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
