H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations and maximize savings. You will prepare accurate returns, interview clients, and offer personalized guidance in an in-person office.

The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, leveraging leading training and technology, and earning via an incentive plan as you develop tax expertise and serve communities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, including preparing individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including explaining tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and life changes.
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
