You will work in person at a local tax office, collaborating with teammates, using industry-leading training and technology, and benefiting from competitive pay and an incentive plan based on impact and client service.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews and provide personalized recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote appropriate H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
