H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve a diverse client base with the support of a specialist team and advanced tax training. You’ll conduct client interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the practice with additional products and services.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax. Franchise office hiring decisions apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representations where applicable.

Education
