Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 1+ year experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications
• Provide tax savings opportunities and recommendations incorporating H&R Block products
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive client-focused office environment
