H&R Block is hiring an Experienced Tax Professional for in-person seasonal work at a local tax office. You will prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, and offer clear, personalized recommendations.

Build trusted client relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, and support clients with IRS notices and audit guidance using industry-leading training and technology.

Qualifications

• Must complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping (including individual and business returns).
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations (individual and business).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
