Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to build confidence and success.

Responsibilities include performing tax interviews (in-person and virtual), preparing returns, growing the client base, and providing IRS support as needed. A CPA/EA and 5+ years in accounting or tax are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience with virtual tax interviews and tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face or virtually.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and client retention; upsell services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; manage audit representations where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.
