Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll deliver high-quality tax preparation with support from an expert team and receive advanced tax training to ensure success.

You will conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face or virtually, prepare complete tax returns, and contribute to growing client relationships while providing IRS support when needed. Training is provided, with flexibility for a seasonal schedule.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (audit representation if certified)
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS/state requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person or via virtual tools
• Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and cross-sell services
• Support teammates and mentor junior staff
