H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support with the backing of an expert team and extensive training.

The role focuses on building client relationships, driving growth, and delivering accurate tax services. Previous experience and credentials such as CPA/EA are highly valued for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) is desired.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax is preferred.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews is expected.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support is desirable.
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support; advisory and representation where applicable
• Mentor and support teammates
