H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, delivering accurate returns and friendly service. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and support clients with IRS notices, backed by experienced teams and advanced tax training.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and 5+ years in accounting, tax, or finance; experience with virtual interviews is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
