Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to build client relationships and deliver high-quality tax services. You will conduct interviews, prepare comprehensive returns, and provide IRS support while collaborating with an expert team and leveraging advanced tax training.

Ideal candidates bring a CPA or EA certification, five or more years in accounting/tax, and experience with virtual interviews plus tax planning. Prior sales/marketing experience is a plus during busy season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
