Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to deliver advanced tax training for success. You will build strong client relationships and provide expert guidance.

Responsibilities include interviewing clients, preparing returns, and supporting tax planning and audit processes while contributing to business growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or EA certification is preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation for Circular 230 associates).
• Mentor and support teammates.
