H&R Block is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll receive advanced tax training and support from a dedicated team to help you succeed, while building relationships that grow stronger each year.

In this role you will conduct tax interviews (in person and via video, phone, chat or email), prepare complete returns, seek opportunities to grow the business, and provide IRS support.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
