H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS support with guidance from an expert team and advanced tax training.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and experience with complex returns. This role emphasizes building client relationships and driving business growth within a franchise office.

Formación

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (notice services and audit representation where applicable)
• Mentor and support teammates
• Complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• Experience completing individual returns and working in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Conduct tax interviews with clients via multiple channels (in person and virtual)
• Prepare accurate individual tax returns and supporting schedules
• Increase client retention and cross-sell HR Block services
• Assist clients with IRS notices and tax notices as needed
• Mentor junior staff and support team development
